I really missed our salad shop, we once have a salad shop in Kunming, Jiangong’s new town. The shop is beside a street, on a corner of a mall, facing outside. The place is OK, but just out of client stream. We planned our shop carefully, even though this is our first shop. We designed our shop with an interior designer, thanks to her excellent work, we had our shop well designed.
Our shop sells salad and flowers, mainly run by my wife. I help her with some work that needs strength or IT skills. We had a lot of happy memory of that shop.
Once we start to try to find fruit providers, we found we could just do it ourselves. We had to go to the fruit market, buy what we need, and carry boxes of fruit by a small steel handcart. It’s really hard work, and we need to do this every week.
And we also have a big dog, every time my wife goes to this shop for work, she was also the main chief of our shop, she just brings our dog with her, and we put our dog upstairs in the shop, this dog always sleeping, sometimes he awake and walk around upstairs.
I had always gone to our shop directly after work, with my computer, I studied CS skills in our shop and had dinner with my wife. The salad she made is very delicious, I like it. And this kind of food is healthy, I’d like to eat Salad a lot if we could keep our shop.
But, the rent of this shop is costly, the surrounding did not provide enough revenue, and we need to pay for 1 or 2 workers in our shop. I keep coding for my work and to feed my family. My wife does almost all the things for our shop, after all, we got no revenue from our shop. After one year, we closed our shop and moved downtown.
Still, our shop looks nice, the experience we running our shop is comfortable and interesting. We missed our shop a lot. I think we will start another shop again if we could.
